The market leader for containers made from PE, top quality SBR-treatment
(Sequence Batch Reactor), systems for clear water seepage. Safeguard for the
future with European approval EN 12566-3.
We are proud of our high quality products which not only offer you long
guarantees, key design features, excellent accessories, and a choice of systems,
but also competitive pricing. Whether it's a complete new system, or
utilising an existing septic tank by retro-fitting our SBR treatment
equipment, we have an option to suit your specific requirements.
The MONOfluido offers safe plant technology and is very easy to
handle. Compact SBR systems such as the FLUIDO are the technology of the future
and today they are the most specified systems. Combined with our container
MONOLITH (with 20 years guarantee) you obtain a fully biological domestic
wastewater treatment plant with guaranteed long life and reliable operation. It
is a compact, light and easy to install unit. The current regulations are
achieved and usually surpassed.
How it works
SBR technology works with at least two separate sections: a
pre-treatment chamber as buffer and sludge reservoir, and the SBR bioreactor
chamber.
The wastewater stored in the pre-treatment container (1) is
lead intermittently (in batches) into the SBR reactor (2) for an 8-hour aeration
cycle. The submersible aerator provides oxygen and enables microorganisms to
grow. These feed on the substances contained in the wastewater. You obtain
‘living’ microbiological sludge flakes that sink to the bottom of the container.
In the upper part you have mostly treated water which is being pumped into the
seepage or soak away area. Meanwhile a new amount of wastewater has been stored
in the pre-treatment section and the cycle begins again.
The FLUIDO floating treatment system (3) is at the heart of
every MONOfluido system. It treats sewage reliably and is simple to install and
maintain. SBR treatment systems with submersible aerators are the most
frequently used systems for small biological treatment works. With the float
principle we have improved the process and this combined with the unbeatable
advantages of our PE treatment tanks MONOLITH, and the MONOfluido, you are on
the safe side.
If there is no stream or ditch to receive your fully
biologically treated wastewater you can sily seep it below ground using our
seepage systems (4). All you need is a permeable soil and sufficient distance to
the groundwater level. Our treatment box is installed directly into the soil
without need for gravel. This saves you 1.5t of gravel.
We also supply, install and maintain the C&A range of packaged sewage
treatment plants.
The fixed bed sewage treatment plant is a variation of the well
known activated sludge process which has been known for decades especially in
communal sewage treatment plants. The fixed bed is a plastic tube system and is
immersed in water. The surface of this tube system offers micro organisms an
ideal area for growth. A compressor intermittently supplies air to the water
which gives the micro organisms optimal living conditions on the fixed bed.
As this is a rather sensitive sewage treatment system which can
cope with load variations and overload, it is absolutely necessary to take into
account the exact quantity of sewage water / number of population to allow for
buffer tanks. Regular maintenance is likewise essential to make sure, should
there be any problems, immediate action can be taken, e.g. to change the
aeration cycle if necessary.
If the maintenance instructions are observed, fixed bed sewage
treatment plants are a reliable and trouble-free form of treatment.
